Job Description
As BIM / Design Engineer, you will have the opportunity to generate and design bespoke structural models, BIM coordination models and report technical solutions to management using cutting edge technology.
Key responsibilities will include:
✅ Capability of working on multiple projects under direction along with colleagues in the design team.
✅ Capability to participate in coordination meetings internally and externally showing verbal and written presentation skills.
✅ Interpretation of design requirements and objectives from various projects to complete design tasks at all stages from concept, design, fabrication, support, and installation.
✅ Creation of 3D BIM and/or fabrication models coordinating a range of services including but not limited to mechanical pipework, ventilation, containment, and support structures.
✅ Production of 2D drawings to a high level of quality to convey design information to the client at a presentation level.
✅ Production of high quality 2D fabrication and installation drawings to progress projects from design stage to fabrication and installation.
✅ Liaising with and supporting the fabrication team to ensure all designs are produced to a high standard and provide engineering advice as required.
The successful candidate will have:
✅ Qualification in a relative engineering discipline
✅ Industry experience working in a similar Mechanical / Design Engineering role.
✅ In depth knowledge and experience of 2D & 3D CAD software including but not limited to SolidWorks and Autodesk Revit or similar software packages.
✅ Knowledge of BIM and collaboration tools such as Autodesk Construction Cloud.
✅ Ability to problem solve and coordinate their own efforts to deliver all design goals assigned.
✅ Initiative to continue to learn on the job and seek opportunities for personal development.
✅ Relevant experience in a similar role.

Package Includes:
🌟 Working hours 8.30 to 5.00 (Mon to Thur) 8.30 to 3.00 (Fri) at our headquarters in Omagh, Northern Ireland.
